Building foundation consolidation for residential and commercial use

Building foundation consolidation in Riccia (CB)
Structure: commercial/residential building (Added Body), located in the municipality of Riccia (CB). The building subject to intervention, consists of a ground floor and a first floor with related roof. The load-bearing structures are made by masonry in hollow brick blocks with the use of mortar; the floors are latero-cementitious; the roofing of the type “A Doppia Falda”, turns out to be made with iron-lattice load-bearing structure and overlying waterproofing with bituminous membrane.
Foundations: from exploratory essay carried out, the building under consideration appears to be affected by continuous foundations of the “Rectangular Beam” type, placed at a depth of about mt 0.50 from the walking level of the outside yard. Foundation beam sizing approximately mt 0.40 (L) x approximately mt 0.30 (H).
Disturbance: there is an obvious cracking-deformation framework on the building under investigation attributable to differential subsidence limited to the corner cantonal northwest exposure with involvement of both footings and internal partitions pertaining to part of the rooms located on the ground floor.
Soil: Based on geognostic investigations carried out in situ, soils are found to be predominantly of a silt-clay nature, generally wine-red in color, sometimes with a flaky structure, within which levels and/or stone (rock) limestone findings are also found with thicknesses of 30 cm.
