Building renovation of a private building located in the municipality of Cupramontana (AN)

Building renovation, 110% seismbonus with invoice discount.
Structure: private building for residential use, isolated, located in the municipality of Cupramontana (AN), built in 1985. The building consists of one above-ground floor with a vertical structure made of solid brick masonry, perforated brick block partitions, and a roof made of latero-concrete.
Foundations: r.c. foundation that is at an average depth of about 60 cm from r.c.
Disturbance: visual analysis of the building showed, in each zone, but with greater significance in the western portion, a network of lesions with sub-vertical, sub-horizontal and inclined, multiple-branch paths. The crack pattern with tensile cracks was produced by shear and bending stresses corresponding to asymmetrical deformations. The structure appears to be affected by downstream roto-translation with greater prominence in the northwest corner. The failure began in the year 1997 and has progressively worsened.
Soil: from information gathered during the inspection and from the geological report, it appears the presence, of the following stratification:
– From p.c. to 1.0-1.20mt: vegetation and/or topsoil;
– 1.0-1.20 to 1.8-3.70mt: silty sands and silts with intercalated silty-clay horizons. These are soils that have been soiled;
– 1.8-3.70 to 3.2-5.2mt: beige silty clays constituting eluvial deposits;
This is followed by marls constituting the intact substrate.
Water table at -4.0mt from the p.c..

Il Progetto

Intervention: consolidation and lifting of foundations by laying 24 Lift Pile® lifting, steel MP60 micropiles (CE-marked product – EN 1090-1:2009) prethreaded (European patent 29187731) with special jacking jacking jackets on the existing foundation slab and subsequent injection of expanding resins to fill the void created by the lifting.
Depth reached by the micropiles with respect to the foundation slab: from 23 to 25 meters.
Infusion pressure: 220/230 bar corresponding to 22/23 tons per infilled micropile.
Duration of consolidation work: 8 working days.
Number of operators employed for the work: 3 specialized operators.
