Energy efficiency – from class F to class A4

The intervention took place at a house located in Bosco Chiesanuova, in a foothill area at about 800 meters above sea level. This building, built in the 1980s, had never been renovated. The owner was in need of major upgrading, so we performed a complete restyling of the building.

Project Description.
Proposed solution: We completely insulated the building by re-roofing and applying an exterior coat. All windows and doors were replaced with new triple-glazed frames. The plumbing was completely redone, changing from two gas boilers to a new centralized system consisting of a heat pump and geothermal probes. About 300 linear meters of vertical geothermal probes were installed. In addition, an approximately 11 kW solar thermal and photovoltaic system with graphene storage batteries was installed on the roof.

Conclusions
The intervention at the home in Bosco Chiesanuova led to a significant improvement in economy and living comfort. The combination of advanced technologies optimized energy efficiency, reducing CO2 emissions and ensuring even and continuous heating throughout the winter period. Graphene storage batteries have contributed to long-lasting and reliable energy efficiency.
