Structure: former barn converted into a private building for residential use located in the municipality of Florence (FI), consisting of one above-ground floor with stone walls and floors formed by wooden beams.
Foundations: reinforced concrete foundation about 30 cm high with projection from the vertical of the wall in elevation.
Disturbance: the building has been partially treated in the past with excellent results, currently the rear portion has shown indications of a failure of the related foundation.
Soil: no geological investigations are available, however, it can be reasonably stated that a soil with a purely clay component is present.
Intervention request: consolidation intervention with 110% Sismabonus and invoice discount.

Il Progetto

Intervention: injections of KERASTABLE® type HDR® high-density resins (Expanding Polymers) with free diffusion and subsequent installation of 35 MP60 steel micropiles (CE marked product – EN 1090-1:2009)
Depth reached by the micropiles with respect to the foundation laying surface: from 14 to 18 meters.
Driving pressure: from 200 to 220 corresponding to 20/22 tons for each driven micropile.
Duration of consolidation work: 4 working days.
Number of operators used for the work: 3 specialized operators.
