Structure: power line support in Anqua Locality – Radicondoli (SI), consisting of an iron pylon resting on a reinforced concrete plinth.
Foundations: reinforced concrete plinth with dimensions of mt. 3.80 x 3.80.
Disturbance: tilting of the iron support due to localized failure of the foundation plinth.
Soil: presence of clay matrix soil in which there are lithoid elements of even centimeter dimensions with chaotic lay.
The Project

Intervention: consolidation by laying 08 LIFT PILE® (European Patent filed no. 2918731) MP60 micropiles (CE-marked product according to European standard EN1090-1:2009) with preloading for a maximum lift of 60 cm and subsequent backfilling with injections of KERASTABLE® high-density expanding resins
Quantity of resin used: approximately 925 kilograms of injected product
Lift obtained from the intervention performed: 60 centimeters at the most yielded point
Average depth reached by the micropiles in relation to the paving surface: 7 meters
Average driving pressure: 240bar corresponding to 24 tons
Preloading pressure: 400Nm
Duration of consolidation intervention: 3 days
Number of site operators: 3
