Consolidation and building renovation of a private building for residential use

Structure: Private building for residential use located in Cerveteri (RM), consisting of three above-ground floors and a basement floor with double brick masonry with cavity and floors made of late concrete.
Foundations: plinths having dimensions 2.00×2.00 height 1 meter, placed at the depth varying from 0.60 to 1.60 m,
Disruption: presence of lesions on the entire structure due to bottom failure.
Soil: lithoid limestone elements of even decimeter size, immersed in a matrix with a predominantly clay component.
Request for intervention: consolidation of foundations by laying pressure micropiles and performing expanding resin injections on the pavement outside the building, 110% seismbonus intervention with invoice discount.

Il Progetto

Intervention: consolidation with infixing of 69 MP60 steel micropiles (Product CE marked according to the European standard EN1090-1:2009) and subsequent injection of blowing resin on the external pavement of the building.
Depth reached by the micropiles with respect to the foundation laying surface: from 7 to 9 meters.
Infusion pressure: 230bar corresponding to 23 tons for each infilled micropile.
Quantity of blowing resin used: 910 kilograms of injected product
Duration of consolidation work: 6 days.
Number of operators used for the work: 3 specialized operators.
