Structure: private building for residential use located in Sanfatucchio in the municipality of Castiglione Del lago (PG), consisting of two above-ground floors and one attic floor with tuff masonry and attic floors made of latero-concrete.
Foundations: concrete curb 150 cm deep from the floor level and protruding about 15 cm from the vertical of the wall in elevation.
Disturbance: presence of lesions on the load-bearing walls of the structure. Soil: clay soils to deep depths.
Request for action: building renovation of building with installation of pressure micropiles.

Il Progetto

Intervention: consolidation by driving in 33 MP60 steel micropiles (Product CE marked according to the European standard EN1090-1:2009).
Depth reached by the micropiles in relation to the foundation laying surface: from 16 to 20 meters.
Driving pressure: 200bar corresponding to 20 tons per driven in micropile.
Duration of the consolidation intervention: 2.5 days.
Number of operators used for the work: 3 specialized operators.
