Private residential building located in the municipality of Osteria Grande (BO)

Structure: building located in Osteria Grande BO consisting of 2 above-ground floors and a basement floor with masonry supporting structure. .
Foundations: as a result of the feasibility study performed, a foundation with HES 200 beams and a 0.3m thick slab reinforced with double mesh was found.
Failure: the lesion network (inclined single- and multiple-branch, sub-horizontal and sub-vertical) produced by shear and bending stresses corresponding to asymmetric deformations, shows shear-flexion type ruptures with phase of detachment motion, with relative type of motion and classifies the failures as relative terminal differential vertical translations that are more evident in the areas not under founded, particularly at the south source. Some of the lesions detected during the inspection can be considered to be related to the chain intervention performed in the elevated parts.
Soils: following the infill test, soils of a cohesive nature were found up to a depth of about 7 m from the basement, followed by the presence of gravel. Clay soils are subject to volumetric shrinkage and contraction due to drying of surface lithotypes and subsequent swelling as a result of seasonal climatic and rainfall patterns.
