Preventive consolidation of a building to be built in Caorle (VE)

Structure: residential building to be built in Caorle (VE), consisting of two above-ground floors with poroton masonry and prestressed slabs.
Foundations: inverted reinforced concrete beams having a width of 80 cm with a thickness of 65 cm and 10 cm of lean-to.
Disturbance: no disturbance, preventive consolidation required in view of soils having poor geomechanical characteristics to a depth of about 20 meters from ground level.
Soil: very poor soil to a depth of at least 20 meters consisting of silts, sands and clays.

Il Progetto

Intervention: consolidation by laying 44 micropiles using Track Pile® technology (pressure micropiles with preloading device)
Depth of Lift Pile® micropile driving: 23 to 27 meters from ground level
Lift Pile® micropile driving pressure: 240bar corresponding to 24 tons
