Sustainability

Our sustainable commitment

Novatek operates in an area that requires special attention to the management of natural resources. Our business inevitably involves environmental impact, especially in terms of energy and water consumption, but we strive every day to contain it through responsible choices and concrete actions.

Energy consumption

Our activities require the use of high-powered equipment and vehicles. To address this critical issue:

  • We adopt operational solutions that reduce unnecessary processing time and waste.
  • We select machinery and technologies that ensure high-efficiency performance.
  • Regularly scheduled maintenance of equipment helps to keep consumption levels under control and extend its useful life.

We are aware that there is still room for improvement, so we carefully consider any innovation that can further reduce our energy requirements.

Water management

Water is a key resource in some of our operational activities. To limit its impact, we take a practical and balanced approach:

  • Whenever possible, we use water already available locally, with the customer’s consent, avoiding unnecessary transportation.
  • Each new employee is made aware of sustainable behaviors and the need to avoid waste on worksites from the moment he or she joins the company.
  • In the corporate office, we have eliminated single-use plastic bottles by installing filtered water dispensers available to all staff.
  • In addition, our research and development department is experimenting with alternative solutions to further reduce the use of water in some technical applications, evaluating the use of air systems where technically possible.

These actions testify to a concrete desire to reduce water impact without compromising operational effectiveness.

Culture of sustainability

Sustainability for us is not an obligation, but a principle to be internalized. Therefore:

  • We offer regular in-house training on environmental issues, particularly for operations teams.
  • We promote a corporate culture of responsibility and awareness in the use of resources.
  • We foster internal and external dialogue on sustainability issues in order to grow together more thoughtfully and consistently with current changes.
Transparent and ongoing commitment

We are convinced that every step toward greater sustainability must be transparent and verifiable. This page was created precisely to account for our approach and to contribute, in our own sphere, to a culture of shared responsibility.
Improvement is a continuous process: every choice, every person involved, every project gives us the opportunity to do better.
